We circumcise young children up to the age of two using the Plastibell Technique. Local anaesthetic is used to numb and provide pain relief to the child during the procedure. The bell device is placed on the glans penis and the excess foreskin is trimmed off. There are no stitches used and this minimises complications of bleeding. The bell device falls off within 3-14 days depending on the age of the individual, resulting in a cosmetically superior result. The procedure is relatively quick and in effect pain free.
